Confidence is the key to success. If you are not confident in yourself, how can you expect others to be confident in you? You have to believe in yourself and your ability to succeed before anyone else will believe it too. But where do you begin...
Confidence is a skill
Confidence is a skill that can be learned. It's a state of mind, but it's not just about thinking positive thoughts. Confidence is about feeling good about yourself and being comfortable with who you are. It's knowing that you're capable of achieving your goals and succeeding at what you do, regardless of the challenges you face or how others may view your efforts. Confidence is essential to success because when people have confidence in themselves and their abilities, they're more likely to pursue opportunities that will help them grow as individuals and achieve important goals. Confident people tend to take risks and reach out for help when they need it—which means if your brand has confidence behind it, then so should your business!
Believe in your product
If you believe in your product or service and have confidence in how it will benefit people, then it’s going to shine through in every interaction you have with others. This is something that people want to be around—they want to be around someone who is confident enough to show his or her true colors, even if that means being vulnerable at times.

Build others up
Confidence is contagious! When someone sees another person being confident and comfortable with themselves, they want to feel that way too. And guess what? We all like being around people who exude confidence because it makes us feel good about ourselves as well. It helps us feel more positive and boosts our self-esteem! Being confident also makes people think “Wow! If they can do this then maybe I can do this too!” Confidence allows others see themselves reflected in us which encourages them to take chances on their own dreams despite any fears or doubts keeping them back from reaching their full potential by overcoming obstacles along the way.
Get out of your comfort zone
If you want to be more confident, you have to get out of your comfort zone. Put yourself out there on social media, try something new in your next audition, take an improv class or attend a VO workout. These activities will give you confidence because they force you into new situations. It's not easy for most people, but the more experiences like these we have, the more confident we become. And once we get used to it? We find that there are no more fears holding us back from reaching our goals! And it doesn't just stop there. As we get more and more experience with these activities, we begin to realize that they're not as scary as we once thought. Now, when we look at our goals, they don't seem so impossible—they just seem like another challenge that needs to be overcome.
So, what next?
When we talk about confidence, we're not talking about arrogance or ego. Rather, it's an inner state of being that helps you overcome obstacles and achieve success in your career and life goals. When you feel confident, what's most important is not what others think or say about you but rather how you feel about yourself and the work that you do each day.
