Thanks for a great VO Atlanta 2025

VO Atlanta 2025 was truly incredible!

I’ve been attending VO Atlanta since 2014, and it’s always one of the highlights of my year. As a premier voiceover conference, it brings together nearly 1,000 attendees and over 150 presenters, creating an environment buzzing with creativity, knowledge, and excitement. I’ve also been actively involved in presenting and mentoring throughout the years, and love being involved in watching talent grow their careers.

Giving Back to the Voiceover Community That Built Me

I’ve been proud to support the VO BOSS Career Education Scholarship (formerly the VO Peeps Scholarship) at VO Atlanta since the very beginning, and this year was no exception. It’s incredibly meaningful to be part of something that helps remove financial barriers for talent who are passionate about growing their voice over careers. Whether it’s helping with training, demos, gear, or conference attendance, the goal has always been to give back to the community that’s given me so much. Watching recipients take the next step in their journey is one of the most rewarding parts of being at VO Atlanta—and I’m so grateful to continue being part of it.

Teaching, Learning, and Loving Every Minute

What. A. Weekend. VO Atlanta 2025 was packed with energy, talent, and so many amazing moments that I’m still catching my breath. From powerful keynotes to late-night networking and everything in between, this year’s conference reminded me why I love this industry so much—we show up, we support each other, and we never stop learning.

I had the absolute joy of leading a few sessions focused on performance and storytelling (and wow—what a group!). Watching attendees dive in, take risks, and grow in real time is one of the best parts of what I get to do. Whether it was their first conference or their fifth, people brought their A-game, and the energy in the room was electric.

There’s something truly special about being surrounded by people who are passionate about the craft and committed to leveling up—not just their reads, but their mindset, their connections, and their goals. If you were there, you know what I mean. If you missed it… start planning for next year. Trust me.

Conversations That Matter

I also had the chance to sit in on some truly inspiring panel discussions—one with fellow demo producers and another focused on the corporate and eLearning space. Both panels were packed with insight, a few laughs, and plenty of real talk about what it takes to stay current (and sane!) in this ever-evolving industry.

It was such a gift to share the stage with so many smart, talented voices and to connect with attendees who asked thoughtful, challenging questions. These conversations reminded me how much we all learn from each other—and how important it is to keep showing up, keep listening, and keep growing.

The Real Magic? The People

Workshops and panels are amazing—but let’s be honest, the real magic of VO Atlanta is the people. There’s nothing like stepping out from behind the mic and finally hugging the friends you’ve only seen on Zoom, swapping stories in the hallway, or laughing way too hard over dinner with people who get it.

I was blown away (as always) by the kindness, the talent, and the pure heart this community brings to every conversation. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned pro, the energy is welcoming, supportive, and ridiculously inspiring. It’s these connections—the spontaneous chats, the shared breakthroughs, the “you too?!” moments—that make this conference something truly special.

Totally Surprised—and Totally Grateful

One of the most unexpected (and emotional!) moments of the weekend was receiving the Industry Service Award. I was completely surprised—and honestly, still a little speechless. To be recognized by this amazing community for doing the work I love… it means more than I can put into words.

But the truth is, I wouldn’t be here without you. Every student, colleague, listener, and friend who’s shared this journey with me—thank you. This community inspires me daily, and I’m so grateful to be a small part of something so big, so passionate, and so full of heart.

VO Atlanta Still Hits Different

Whether you’re just finding your voice or have been in the booth for years, there’s something powerful about stepping into a space like VO Atlanta. It’s where learning meets community, where creativity gets a jumpstart, and where you realize—yep, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

This industry never stops evolving, and conferences like this help us grow with it. From staying sharp on trends to getting re-inspired, VO Atlanta delivers every time. I left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already counting down to next year.

Until then—keep pushing, keep creating, and keep using that voice of yours! I can’t wait to see where we all go next.
