These days, there is no shortage of new technology making huge waves in many industries. From digital music and cryptocurrency to AI and synthetic voice, innovative technologies are disrupting traditional business models. The brilliant minds behind these technologies are proving themselves as the modern-day versions of Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, Marie Curie, Alan Turing, and other iconic technopreneurs. In fact, Netflix’s new series ‘The Playlist’ shares how new technologies start as a vision and impact the industry, law, and people involved. This docu-drama miniseries is about a Swedish tech entrepreneur and his partners who set out to revolutionize the music industry with an innovative streaming platform.
